Find couple and wedding gifts at GiftsForYouNow.com!Good morning, everyone! We hope you all had an excellent weekend!

We’re going to be starting a new top five series on our blog. Our first topic is stress free wedding planning. Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times in any couple’s life together, but the joy and happiness surrounding getting married can often be marred by drama-filled wedding planning. Needless to say, this isn’t exactly the way any couple wants to start their journey to the altar, so we thought we’d start giving you some tips on how to plan your wedding with as little stress as possible.

This week, we’re starting with number five. Check back every Monday for a new “top five series” post from us!

#5: Make a timeline, but don’t stress if you don’t follow it to the letter.

We found this awesome blog post from wedding blog Weddingbee about how one thing that places major stress on a couple during wedding planning is when one party starts nagging another about the progress of the planning process.

Here’s the thing: it is important to be organized when it comes to planning a wedding. It is a good idea to make a timeline of when you want certain parts of your wedding’s plans done and checked off the list. You can make inspiration boards to get the gears turning, or hop on Pinterest to look at ideas. These are all things that will help you make decisions and create your dream wedding day.

What you don’t want to do is become so obsessed with sticking to your timeline or vision that you become a nag, or start to drive yourself and everyone around you crazy. Wedding planning is supposed to be fun, so don’t stress out if something deviates from your original plan or if you don’t have your flowers picked out by the date that you thought you would. Everything comes together and works out the way it’s supposed to, so enjoy the planning process and do your best to roll with the punches. That way, you and your significant other can actually enjoy the process of planning your wedding instead of obsessing over the small and insignificant details.

Since even the most stress-free weddings can come with some hiccups in the road, you’re going to want to show your significant other how much you love them throughout the process. Sweetest Day is coming up, which is the perfect time to show your sweetheart you care. Check out some of our gifts for your loved one and make them smile this Sweetest Day!

Happy wedding planning!
